Executive Coaching Cost:
Rates, Fees & Pricing (2026)

If you're researching executive coaching, you're probably asking one question first:

How much does executive coaching cost?

The short answer is that executive coaching typically ranges from $5,000 to $30,000+ for a structured engagement, while hourly rates often fall between $200 and $1,000+ depending on the coach's experience, credentials, and client base.

The actual investment depends on several factors, including the coach's background, the length of the engagement, how frequently you meet, and whether assessments or between-session support are included.

What Determines Executive Coaching Pricing?

The biggest factors influencing cost include:

  • The coach's experience and credentials

  • The seniority of the client (manager, executive, founder, CEO)

  • Session length and engagement duration

  • Assessments and preparation included

  • Between-session access and accountability

  • Whether coaching is purchased by an individual or an organization

Some coaches bill hourly. Others offer structured packages or monthly retainers. Neither model is inherently better, but package pricing often provides clearer expectations and a more defined outcome.

My Executive Coaching Pricing

I don't bill by the hour.

Most meaningful coaching happens over a complete conversation rather than fitting neatly into a single 60-minute slot, so I use fixed pricing based on the scope of the work.

Current options include:

  • Clarity & Strategy$500

Two sessions plus the Energy Leadership Index (ELI) assessment and personalized debrief.

  • Advisory Intensive$950

A focused three-hour strategy session for complex decisions, leadership challenges, or business problems that benefit from uninterrupted thinking time.

  • Momentum & Growth — $3,500

    (or $1,250/month for 3 months)
A three-month executive coaching engagement with 12 coaching sessions, the Energy Leadership Index (ELI) assessment and 90-minute debrief, session recaps, personalized accountability, and text and voice-note support. For clients navigating major decisions or periods of rapid change, sessions can be compressed into a more intensive cadence when needed.

  • ELI Assessment & 90-minute Debrief$275

Energy Leadership Index assessment and debrief as a standalone service.

More About Me

Is Executive Coaching Worth the Cost?

The better question is whether better decisions are worth the investment.

Strong executive coaching isn't about motivation or generic advice. It's about thinking more clearly, making difficult decisions with greater confidence, navigating challenging conversations, and avoiding costly mistakes.

For founders, executives, and high-performing professionals, a single better decision can outweigh the cost of coaching many times over.

If you're comparing coaches, don't focus only on price. Consider the coach's experience, approach, credentials, and whether they're someone you trust to challenge your thinking when it matters most.
